The Digital Soil Core (DSC) #digitalsoilcore contains 7 sensors. One of these we call “Snap Crackle Pop” and it is a highly sensitive and tuned acoustic sensor capable of delineating coarse fragments and providing additional information about other soil physical properties. This sensor adds an additional set of information dimensions to our Root Cause Analytics #rootcauseanalytics system.

Turn your sound up and listen and watch as the DSC is inserted to the soil in a California citrus grove. Data from the 7 sensors is integrated with analytical quality remote sensing to generate a unique understanding of the relationship between crop performance and behavior and the growing environment.
