Over the past 30 months as we’ve worked quietly it has been a challenge to keep our activities to ourselves. Among these activities was the acquisition of several companies that complement the LandScan mission. We will be announcing these in the coming weeks. These acquisitions by LandScan bring technology, intellectual property, and brilliant human beings to our company.

We start with the announcement of the acquisition of Paris GeoSpatial, LLC. Dr. Jack Paris is a true legend and pioneer and has envisioned, developed, and commercialized some of the most advanced and useful remote sensing tools ever created. In addition to an enormous wealth of intellectual capital, LandScan gained an extraordinarily hard-working, thoughtful, and interesting team member who daily brings his best. We are honored to have Jack as the Director of our Paris Remote Sensing Lab where he guides a talented group of engineers and scientists working on our Platform for Discovery (http://landscan.ai).
